
NEW HAVEN, CT — A city man was killed after a crash near Ella T. Grasso Boulevard Tuesday night shortly before midnight.
The deceased occupant was identified by police as Jovany Rosas-Marquez, 29. He was critically injured in the crash and died after being transported to the hospital, said Officer David Hartman, police spokesman.
"Police are looking into reports that those involved had come from a pool-hall in Orange, CT," Hartman said. "Based on witness reports, high speeds and erratic driving are suspected factors in this crash. A final report isn’t expected for some time."

Two other occupants were pulled from the vehicle by good Samaritans and a third was found walking on the boulevard.
