Person Rescued, 9 Displaced In New Haven Blaze
One person was rescued by firefighters and nine others displaced in an early Monday morning fire.
NEW HAVEN, CT — Firefighters rescued one person and nine adults were displaced in a fire at a four-story apartment building at 25 Lynwood Place, The New Haven Register reported. Firefighters arrived at the scene around midnight to deal with reports of smoke and found a victim trapped on the third floor.
The victim was rescued and the fire was brought under control by 12:30 a.m. Those displaced are being assisted by The American Red Cross, according to The Register.
