Police Investigate Late Night Shooting Of 39-Year-Old City Man
A shooting before midnight Thursday on Washington Avenue in New Haven left a man with a non-life threatening gunshot wound, police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT —Late Thursday night, police got a Shotspotter alert to gunfire, and multiple 911 calls, that a person had been shot on Washington Avenue, between West Street and King Place.
When police arrived just after 11:30 p.m., they found a New Haven man, 39, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Taken to Yale New Haven Hospital, he was was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and listed in stable condition.
