Police Investigate New Haven Carjackings

NEW HAVEN, CT — Police are investigating following reports of several carjackings over the last 24 hours, The New Haven Register reported. The incidents have been similar to those reported in Hamden.

Police detained two juveniles in the area of Chapel Street and Ellsworth Avenue in connection with the investigation. Officers recovered three of the stolen vehicles and seized a BB gun also found in that area, according to The Register.
