Reward Offered For Info On New Haven Mosque Fire

Two rewards worth $7,500 are being offered for information on who started the fire at the Diyanet Mosque

NEW HAVEN, CT — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the Diyanet Mosque fire in New Haven.

The Connecticut Arson Watch program is offering a $2,500 with similar stipulations.

The fire occurred May 12 and left the mosque unusable until repairs are made. The investigation is being done by the New Haven Police Department, New Haven Fire Department and ATF New Haven field office.

More than $184,000 has been raised to help fund repairs at the mosque.
