Sally's Apizza Sale Allowed Under Court Decision
A judge dismissed a lawsuit that will now clear the way for the restaurant to be sold.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Famed pizzeria Sally's Apizza can now sell after three years of contentious court battles.
Carmine Capasso said he had an agreement to buy the restaurant for $3.13 million, according to the New Haven Register. An Appellate court upheld a Superior Court decision and dismissed the challenge.
The pizzeria is owned by siblings Robert, Richard and Ruth Consiglio.

It was established in 1938 by Salvatore Consiglio and is one of the city's most famous pizza shops. Thin crust pizza is baked in a coal-fired oven. A number of celebrities and politicians have made their way over the years to Sally's.
