Sam Ash Music Store To Close In New Haven

NEW HAVEN, CT — The popular Sam Ash Music store is closing its New Haven location.

The store, located at 95 Amity Road, is the family-owned chain’s only Connecticut location.

The New Haven Register reports the store is expected to close in late May.

Signs outside the store promoted a store closing sale, along with “Everything Must Go” and a “Total Inventory Blowout.”

Other Sam Ash locations across the country will also be closing, according to the Register.

Sam Ash Music has been “serving musicians since 1924, proudly offering the best service, selection and guaranteed lowest prices on all of your musical needs,” according to a post on its website.
