Semiconductor Maker Among 152 New Businesses Registered In New Haven In July

NEW HAVEN, CT — One hundred fifty-two new businesses registered with the state in New Haven in July, according to the Connecticut Business Registry. The most unusual entry was Lumiquan, Inc., which registered under the semiconductor and related device manufacturing category at 470 James Street on July 6.

Haven Robotics Group Inc. registered under physical and engineering sciences research and development, and One Flock Books LLC registered as a book publisher. Landscaping, home services and real estate filings made up much of the rest of the month.

State registration marks when a business files paperwork with the Secretary of the State, not necessarily when it opens to customers, so some of these ventures may not yet be operating at the addresses listed.
