Shooting On I-95 In New Haven Shuts Down 2 Highways: Reports
A car was struck by gunfire on I-95 Monday evening and police are searching for a suspect, according to reports.

NEW HAVEN, CT — An investigation is underway after a car was struck by gunfire on I-95 in New Haven, according to reports.
State police responded in the area of exit 46 on I-95 northbound at 5:08 p.m. Monday on a report of a shooting, according to FOX 61.
Police are searching for the suspect vehicle, a white Audi. It's believed the car got onto I-91 before leaving the highway, Hearst Connecticut Media reported.

I-91 was closed down for the investigation and reopened at 8:46 p.m., according to FOX 61. I-95 was briefly closed before reopening.
No injuries were reported.
