When Sister Funk was on stage before they played all four band members of Sister Funk were there Blaze the drummer, Kathy the lead guitarist, bass guitarist Rusty, Denise Troy the vocalist and keyboard and Peepa Jean lead singer were all awarded into The New England Music Hall of Fame awards. They were given the award by the American Gladiator Storm. Storm also recently starred in the American Gladiator documentary called, “Muscles & Mayhem”. If you want to check out this documentary of Storm, it is on Netflix. Storm says, “Knowing them and meeting them is that they are down to earth. Getting to know them and their followers, and how they really saved people’s lives. One lady fan told me was going through relationship problems and the band members let her stay with them. There's that dynamic where they continue to touch people’s lives and in the short amount of time that I met them they touched mine also and people's hearts.” Said Storm.
