St. Thomas's Day School Honors Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

St. Thomas’s Day School is committed to creating daily opportunities that nurture leadership and teamwork. In alignment with this mission, their fifth-grade students took a stand for equality and peace on Thursday, January 16, during the all-school Morning Gathering by presenting a heartfelt tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. His enduring legacy of respect, belonging, and love for all people resonates deeply with the values and mission of St. Thomas's. To honor this, students selected a meaningful word to highlight on protest signs they carried throughout the morning. The presentation culminated in a powerful rendition of Dr. King’s iconic "I Have a Dream" speech, delivered with passion and conviction by our students, and a musical performance by The Bluestars, St. Thomas's school chorus.
