Stolen Car From Coronavirus Containment Area Involved In Robbery
Police are investigating a Wednesday robbery and car crash involving a vehicle from New Rochelle.
NEW HAVEN, CT — A car stolen from New Rochelle, NY, which became a coronavirus containment area this week, was involved in an incident Wednesday morning, according to The Hartford Courant.
Officers were called to a parking lot on DeWitt Street for a robbery in progress Wednesday at 10:15 a.m., The New Haven Register reported.
The robbers allegedly fled in a white vehicle with a New York license plate, which was followed by a red car, The Courant reported. A short while later, the white car crashed into a parked vehicle and utility pole on Clover Place and the occupants fled.

Three men involved in the incident were later located in the neighborhood, according to The Register.
Nathaniel Corley, 20, of New Haven was charged with carrying a pistol without a permit and an unnamed second person was arrested for marijuana possession.
