Stratford Man, 41, Shot In New Haven On Halloween Night: Police
It was around 8:20 p.m. in a residential Hill neighborhood near Trowbridge Square Park when gunfire erupted and a man was shot, police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT — New Haven police are investigating a Halloween night shooting that injured a Stratford man, according to spokesperson Officer Scott Shumway.
At around 8:20 p.m., police got a 911 call that a person had been shot on Liberty Street, between Carlisle Street and Putnam streets, Shumway said. When cops got there, they found a 41-year-old Stratford suffering from a gunshot wound, he said. Taken to Yale New Haven Hospital, the man was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, Shumway said.
The police Bureau of Identification collected ballistic evidence and detectives from the Major Crimes Unit are leading the investigation.
