Annie Lucille Jones, 86, of New Haven, died Sept. 8, 2026. Born in Scotland Neck, North Carolina, she lived most of her life in Newport News, Virginia, before relocating to Connecticut to live with family in 2020. She spent her career as a registered nurse.

Toby Jonathan Sumrell, 49, of New Haven, died Sept. 3, 2026. Known as "Tobster," he was a graduate of James Hillhouse High School and a longtime employee of Stop & Shop, where he worked for 30 years. He is survived by his mother, a daughter and a brother.

Jose Nunez Quezada, 32, of New Haven, died Sept. 7, 2026. Born in Jamao Afuera, Dominican Republic, he worked locally as a licensed electrician. He is survived by his wife, Damaris Ortiz Nunez, and a stepdaughter.
