Sunday Hit & Run On Whalley Avenue Left Motorcyclist, 29, Injured: PD
It was around 2 a.m. Sunday when a vehicle struck the motorcycle, and then took off, police said, leaving a New Haven man injured.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A weekend hit-and-run is being investigated by police.
At around 2 a.m. Sunday, police got a call about a crash involving a motorcycle on Whalley Avenue, between West Prospect and Davis streets, police spokesperson Scott Shumway said.
The motorcycle driver, a 29-year-old New Haven man, suffering from injuries sustained in the crash, was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and is listed in stable condition. The "offending vehicle" took off, police said.

The New Haven Police Crash Team responded to the scene and is leading the investigation.
