Suspicious Woman Entered New Haven School, Police Seek Identity
She asked for a student by name, but ran from the school when staff said they'd have to confirm her identity.
NEW HAVEN, CT — Police are asking for the public's help to identify a woman who entered Cold Spring School Friday morning.
The woman was in the school for a few minutes before being confronted by staff. She came back Friday and said she was there to pick up a specific student, said Officer David Hartman, police spokesman. When school staff said they would have to verify her identity she ran from the building.
On Friday she changed from a teal colored outfit to black pants between entering and leaving the property.

She is believed to be in her early 30's and is around 5'6'' and about 180 pounds. She was a passenger in an older model Mazda, possibly a 626. The vehicle had a chrome framed front grill, sunroof and was a dark color.
