Taste Of New Haven's 8th Annual Apizzza Festival Set For Friday
It's apizza galore and tons more to eat, drink and shop for while big band jazz plays at the fest on College Street Friday, from 4 to 10 pm.
NEW HAVEN, CT — Presented by Taste of New Haven, the Apizza Fest is back for its eighth year on Friday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. in downtown New Haven.
The festival celebrating New Haven apizza will be held along College Street and also features a wide range of local food and beer, crafts, clothing and more. The even coincides with the New Haven Grand PRix, a national circuit bicycle race.
The Apizza Fest also features live music from the Elm City Big Band, a 17-piece jazz band and the Hawkins Jazz Collective.

The event emcee is food critic galore Daym Drops who will present a pizza-eating contest with top US contestant Raina Huang and others competitors. The judges include New Haven's own boxing champ The Mighty Midget, Tramaine Williams.
