Police continue to investigate the unfortunate New Haven accident.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A toddler struck by a car Wednesday night in New Haven had her condition upgraded from critical to critical and stable, according to police.
The car impacted the child's stroller on Goffe Street shortly after 6 p.m., said Officer David Hartman, police spokesman. The driver pulled over and nearby police and EMTs responded.
"This morning, doctors told police the child had suffered no major injuries or trauma but will remain hospitalized for several days for continued evaluation," Hartman said.
