Two CT Cities Are Least Fun In US: Study

A new study compares how much fun you can have in cities across the country.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Girls just want to have fun, but people from two Connecticut cities, apparently, do not.

Bridgeport and New Haven bring up the caboose in an analysis of The Most Fun Cities in America by Wallet Hub. Bridgeport ranks 178th out 182nd, and New Haven is 175th.

While it might be difficult to measure what "having fun" means, one thing is for certain: Americans do want to have fun, so much so that they spend $3000 on entertainment every year.

Bridgeport and New Haven can take solace in the fact that there are a few other cities ranked as less fun: Santa Rosa, CA, Yonkers, NY, Oxnard, CA, and Pearl City, HI.

The top two most-fun cities in the US aren't huge surprises: Las Vegas and Orlando. Rounding out the top five are New York City, Miami, and Chicago.

The study compares a wide range of activities, including rankings for the most accessible bars, best-priced movie tickets, most park playgrounds per capita, most dance clubs per capita, and more.
