Two New Haven Men, Ages 24 & 25, Were Shot Thursday Night: Police
Shots rang out just before 7 p.m. in the West Hills neighborhood, with two men suffering non-life threatening gunshot wounds, police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Two New Haven men were shot Thursday night, police said.
Shortly before 7 p.m., cops got a 911 call about a person who'd been shot on Judson Avenue, between Mead and Porter streets, according to police spokesperson Scott Shumway. When officers got there, they found a 24-year-old and 25-year-old who'd both been struck by gunfire, he said.
Both men were taken to Yale New Haven Hospital where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to Shumway.

The police Bureau of Identification collected "ballistic evidence," from the scene and detectives from the Major Crimes Unit are leading the investigation, police said.
