UPDATE: Two New Haven Men, Both 20, Shot In Predawn Hours Sunday During Chapel St. Fight : NHPD

NEW HAVEN, CT — A double shooting overnight Sunday left two 20-year-old men with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, according to New Haven police.
According to New Haven police spokesperson Officer Christian Bruckhart, police responded to a ShotSpotter activation in the 100 block of James Street. Bruckhart said officers located a large group dispersing from the area of Mill and Chapel streets, he said.
"A passersby advised responding officers that there was a fight on Chapel Street and someone had been shot," Bruckhart said.

Officers ultimately located two victims, who were each "transported by private vehicle to other locations in the city," he said.
Their injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening, police said.

It was around 1 a.m. Sunday, when cops were called to the area of Mill and Chapel streets. There they located the victims, both of New Haven.
