Uber Driver Involved In Critical New Haven Crash: PD
A moped operator sustained critical injuries.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A 48-year-old North Haven man sustained traumatic injuries during a moped scooter crash in New Haven.
The crash occurred Sunday around noon between a car and the moped near the intersection of Willow and Orange Streets, said Officer David Hartman, police spokesman.
The moped operator was last reported to be in critical condition Sunday.

An Uber driver was operator the car and neither the operator or passenger were harmed. The car's operator remained at the scene and has been fully cooperative. She told police that she was stopped westbound on Willow Street and proceeded through the intersection when the light turned green.
Police continue to investigate.
