Police say they recently made the arrest.

MILFORD, CT — A New Haven man is being held in lieu of a $75,000 bond for shoplifting $1,600 worth of goods from Target, Milford Police said. The accused also had an active arrest warrant for violating his probation, police said.
On Nov. 11, police responded to Target, 1191 Boston Post Road, on a report of a shoplifter in custody, police said. Investigation led to the arrest of Desmond Wilson, 27, of Goffe Street in New Haven, who is accused of taking more than $1,600 worth of goods from the store without paying and causing damage to the packaging that made it impossible for some items to be resold, police said.
