Whalley Avenue Package Store Slapped With Fine, 1-Day Suspension
Paramount Package Store paid a $1,250 fine and must close for one day for selling alcohol to an intoxicated person, per state officials.
NEW HAVEN, CT — The state Liquor Control Commission fined and suspended a Whalley Avenue package store after saying it violated state law by selling alcohol to a drunk person, according to the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection.
The store, located at 355 Whalley Ave., is suspended from selling alcohol for one day, March 8, records show. It also paid a $1,250 fine for the violation, according to the state.
