Woman Involved In Racist Tirade Victim Of Burglary

A woman who used the N-word during an altercation at a grocery store was the victim of a home burglary in New Haven.

NEW HAVEN, CT — The woman whose racist tirade in an East Haven grocery store went viral has fallen victim to a home burglary.

Corinne Magoveny-Terrone's New Haven home was burglarized during the day Monday, according to WTNH.

Copper piping was taken from her garage, which caused damage. There was additional damage during the burglary.

Magoveny-Terrone resigned from her job with Hamden Public Schools after the video surfaced on social media. She was seen on video using N-word during an altercation at the East Haven Shoprite. Her two young children were with her during the incident.

She told police during a 911 call that the man she was yelling at used a vulgar term.
