A woman was shocked with a stun gun during a robbery attempt over the weekend.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A woman was shocked with a stun gun during a robbery in East Rock Sunday night, according to a report from The New Haven Register. The 65-year-old woman told police she was parking her car along Elm Street when two men approached her. One of them shocked her with a stun gun on the arm while the other grabbed her purse.

The suspects stole her purse and fled in a dark, four-door car. No one was injured and police are investigating, The Register reported.
