Yale Accepts Olympic Skater Nathan Chen

The Olympic bronze medalist has been accepted to Yale University.

NEW HAVEN, CT — U.S. Olympic figure skater Nathan Chen has been accepted to Yale University.

Chen hasn't decided where he is going for college yet, according to NBC Connecticut. Chen is from Salt Lake City and started skating at 3-years-old. Originally he wanted to be a hockey goalie.

Hew won a bronze medal in the 2018 Winter Olympics at the age of 18. He also set an Olympic record for six quad jumps in a men's figure skating long program. He also holds several U.S. records that were set at the 2017 U.S. International Classic.
