Armed Robber Hits Newington Store, Flees In Clerk's Car: Report

NEWINGTON, CT — A Newington 7-Eleven was robbed at gunpoint and the robber fled in the clerk's car, according to NBC CT. The crime occurred at 1:46 a.m. Thursday at 337 Willard Ave.

The armed robber stole cash from the store's register as well as the clerk's wallet, cell phone, and keys, then left in the clerk's white 2019 Nissan Sentra with license plate BE 70139, according to NBC CT.
