Bryant University, Smithfield RI

• Inspired to excel, 788 members of Bryant University's Class of 2018, including four from Newington, were awarded a Bryant degree at the University's 155th Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 18. Graduates will join a powerful, network of 45,000 alumni who have distinguished themselves as leaders in their organizations and communities around the world. Jonathan Cloutier graduated with a Bachelor of Science Business Administration degree in Finance. Connor Ericson graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Business Administration degree in Marketing. Christian Junquera graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business. James Tyrrell graduated with a Bachelor of Science Business Administration degree in Accounting.

Roger Williams University, Bristol RI

• Select students have been named to the spring 2018 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester. Honorees from Newington are Kayla LaRosa, Corinda Sanford, Zachary Saunders, Gregory Stamm, Kirsten Valade and Megan Willgoos.
