Bomb Threat Clears Out Newington Target
Police sent a team in to search the Newington Target after a bomb threat.

NEWINGTON, CT — The Target Store on the Berlin Turnpike was evacuated on Thursday afternoon because of a bomb threat, police said.
The incident was reported just after 2:30 p.m. Eight minutes later, police were calling it "an active scene" and were not releasing specific information other than saying the building was being searched because of a bomb threat.
Police said they would release more information when they have completed their investigation.
