RAs are responsible for guiding and aiding students with on-campus residential living. Among the RAs selected for the spring 2018 semester are Newington residents Cheyenne Fletcher, whose major is Health Sciences and Business Administration; Austin Martins, whose major is Visual Arts and Business Administration; and Anthony Orwa, whose major is Biology.

  • Lasell College in Newton, Mass. has announced that Jordan Aprea of Newington, a Sport management major from the Class of 2019, has been named to the fall 2017 Dean's List. Students with this accomplishment are full-time degree candidates who completed 12 or more credits in the fall semester, with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Tunxis Community College, Farmington CT

  • Tunxis Community College in Farmington has announced the names of those students who have qualified for the Dean’s List for the fall 2017 semester. Students matriculated in a certificate or degree program who have earned a semester grade point average of 3.4 or higher and have successfully completed 12 or more credits, or have earned 12 credits cumulatively over multiple semesters, are eligible for this academic honor. University of New Hampshire, Durham NH

  • A trio of students from Newington have been named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire for the fall 2017 semester: Hayley Lapierre, High Honors; Camden Tatsapaugh, Highest Honors; and Erica Thureson, High Honors. Students named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire are students who have earned recognition through their superior scholastic performance during a semester enrolled in a full-time course load (12 or more graded credits). Highest honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0. Students with a 3.65 to 3.84 average are awarded high honors and students whose grade point average is 3.5 through 3.64 are awarded honors.
