Asnuntuck Community College, Enfield CT

• Asnuntuck Community College has announced that Mallorie DeJesus and Nizar Zekaroui, both of Newington, have achieved Dean’s List status following their spring semester of studies. Full-time students who are matriculated in a certificate or degree program and who have successfully completed 12 or more credits of work in a semester with a grade point average of 3.4 or above are named to the list. Part-time students who are matriculated in a certificate or degree program are also eligible for such recognition when they have completed 12 or more credits of work with a grade point average of 3.4.

Hofstra University, Hempstead NY

• Mirla Sales of Newington excelled during the spring 2018 semester, achieving a GPA of at least 3.5 to earn a spot on the Hofstra University Dean's List.

Siena College, Loudonville NY

• Peter Galante of Newington has been named to the Siena College President's List for the spring 2018 semester. The President's List requires a 3.9 grade point average or higher.
