Coastal Carolina University, Conway SC

• Jacob Hedberg, a management major from Newington, is among the 106 Professional Golf Management students at Coastal Carolina University with a 3.0 GPA or higher. A 2.0 GPA is required to remain enrolled in the program.

Goodwin College, East Hartford CT

• Goodwin College's President's List for the fall 2017 session includes 302 students, all of whom scored a perfect 4.0 GPA. Seven are from Newington: Anthony Bologna, Lynn Deneault, Jillian Hubeny, John Hutchison, Stefanie Lord, Maribet Parkyn and Caroline Roy.

Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.
