NEWINGTON, CT — Here are some milestones and accomplishments achieved recently by college students from Newington, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Dean College, Franklin MA

• The School of the Arts at Dean College will perform A Midsummer Night's Dream, beginning Wednesday, February 22, 2017 through Sunday, February 26, 2017. Dean College is proud to announce that Marisa Mastrio of Newington will have a principal role in the production. A Midsummer Night's Dream is perhaps the best loved of Shakespeare's plays. It brings together the realms of the mortal and immortal, colliding in a wood outside Athens, and from there the enchantment begins. Simple and engaging on the surface, it is none the less a highly original and sophisticated work, where love is capricious as the wind, and where a mischievous imp named Puck plays with fate as merrily as a baby with a toy.

Roger Williams University, Bristol RI

• A pair of students from Newington have been named to the fall 2016 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester. Newington students are Kayla LaRosa and Megan Willgoos.

Siena College, Loudonville NY

• Peter Galante has been named to the Siena College President's List for the fall 2016 semester. Galante is a Finance major from Newington. The President's List requires a 3.9 grade point average or higher.
• Monica Owczarska has been named to the Siena College Dean's List for the fall 2016 semester. Owczarska is an Accounting BS major from Newington. To be named to the Dean's List, a student's grade point average for the semester must be between 3.5 and 3.89.

University of Delaware, Newark DE

• Three students from Newington have been named to the University of Delaware Dean's List for the fall 2016 semester: Alyssa Depaolis, Emily Evon and Tayler Liedke. To meet eligibility requirements for the Dean's List, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a GPA of 3.33 or above (on a 4.0 scale) for the semester.

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT
