Change Made to Newington School Day Schedule Monday
Some overnight snow and precipitation has prompted the schedule to be altered for Dec. 12.
NEWINGTON, CT — Due to slick roads created by some overnight precipitation, Newington Public Schools will open on a 90-minute delay basis on Monday, Dec. 12.
The National Weather Service forecast calls for snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches, with snow and freezing rain continuing until about 11 a.m. Temperatures will increase, reaching a high of 44.
