Christmas Tree Collection Details For Newington Residents Announced

The Newington Highway Department will be collecting Christmas trees curbside the weeks of January, 4th and January, 11th weather permitting. Highway crews will be following the refuse collection schedule.

Condominium complexes will be included in the second week of collection (January, 11th). Residents of condominiums should place their trees beside the dumpsters for collection. Please do not place Christmas trees in the dumpsters.

Residents also have the option to dispose of Christmas trees at the Town Landfill on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00pm.
