Connecticut Business Connection And Newington Chamber of Commerce Partner For Newington 7 AM Network

August 15, 2016 - The Connecticut Business Connection (CTBC), a leader in networking events and entrepreneurial support in CT, announced that the Newington Chamber of Commerce has partnered with CTBC. They join the South WIndsor Chamber of Commerce as CTBC chamber partners, adding their highly successful Newington 7 AM Network to the organization’s lineup.

“The Newington 7 AM Network has been the most visible part of the chamber,” says Bob Newbold, head of the Newington 7 AM Network. “As a weekly event, it gives chamber members and non-members great flexibility in building their business relationships. We look forward to gaining more visibility and bringing new resources to Newington as a partner of the Connecticut Business Connection.”

The Newington 7 AM Network meets every Wednesday at Middlewoods of Newington from 7 AM to 8:30. Continental breakfast is available at each meeting. Participants do 30-second commercials for their businesses and exchange business leads and testimonials. Each meeting ends with a scheduled presentation by a member of the network.

The Newington Chamber of Commerce began in 1945 with 153 individuals and businesses dedicated to improve the business climate in town. The original impetus for forming the Chamber was to channel solicitation requests from various groups through one organization. It provided a forum for the concerns of the community and worked closely with town officials to bring additional businesses to town and provide a welcome to those who located here. Today the Newington Chamber of Commerce has approximately 250 active members and continues to be a representative voice of the business community, monitoring economic and commercial development, enhancing membership benefits, and supporting business and community improvements.
