NEWINGTON, CT — Multiple people were injured Saturday in two separate structure fires on Newington's Audubon Avenue, according to police and a report.

Both fires broke out in the 100 block of Audubon Ave. on Saturday, Newington police confirmed on Twitter. Newington fire crews are on scene, fire officials said on Facebook.

Multiple people were injured in the fires, NBC Connecticut reported, citing dispatchers. It's unclear how many people were injured or the extent of their injuries.
