Crews Respond To Structure Fire In Newington

NEWINGTON, CT — Crews are at the scene of a structure fire at 24 Willard Avenue in Newington, according to officials.

“Crews have smoke in the building, looking for source,” officials wrote in a post on the Newington Volunteer Fire Department’s Facebook page. “West Hartford Truck 3/Battalion 4 and East Farms Engine 9 (RIT) for aid.”

Police are advising motorists to avoid the area.
