Developer Pitches 100+ Unit Apartment Complex In Newington
Many of the units would be affordable.
NEWINGTON, CT — Some residents are concerned that a 108-unit proposed apartment complex would bring more traffic issues on Cedar Street.
The proposed building site is at the former Crest Motors location, which is being remediated by state officials, according to the Hartford Courant.
Many of the apartments will be affordable with rent as low as $410 a month for a one-bedroom unit. Some residents were worried it would add more school-age children to the district, but the developers contend it wouldn't be a significant increase.
