Local Businesses Team Up to Honor Local Law Enforcement
Connecticut Insurance Exchange and Elaine's Restaurant give back to the community.

Connecticut Insurance Exchange recently partnered with Elaine’s Restaurant to provide the men and women of the Newington Police Department with a complimentary lunch. Officers were provided with a free lunch voucher to Elaine’s Restaurant on the Berlin Turnpike, which they we able to redeem from mid August to mid September. “It was our way of saying ‘thank you’ for all they do to protect our community. These dedicated individuals keep our community safe and secure day in and day out. It’s their job. We just wanted them to know their efforts are appreciated,” said Ron Tregoning of Connecticut Insurance Exchange and Dino Karabetsos of Elaine’s Restaurant added, “A lot of officers took us up on our offer. We’re happy we could give back to the community.”
