Reports: Six firefighter students and an instructor suffer burns at Milk Lane training tower in Newington.
NEWINGTON, CT — Ambulances have been dispatched to a firefighter training facility in Newington Saturday morning after a reported incident there may have burned multiple people.
According to the BreakingNow Twitter feed, there are reports of "multiple burns from a training event" and three ambulances have been dispatched.
The BreakingNow report was posted just after 11 a.m. today, but the incident may have happened earlier in the morning.

WFSB Channel 3 is reporting that six students and an instructor suffered minor burns in the incident.
The report indicates an unknown number of people at the Milk Lane fire training tower, which is operated by the Newington Volunteer Fire Department, were involved in the incident.

NVFD officials could not be reached for comment this morning and a person answering the phone at the Newington Police Department's dispatch center deferred any comment to the fire department.
