Newington Ax Throwing Venue Requesting Adult Beverage Permit

NEWINGTON, CT — The operators of a a recreational ax throwing venue in Newington are asking for permission to sell adult beverages, namely wine, beer and cider and wine, at their facility.

The Newington Planning and Zoning Commission's Wednesday night agenda includes the request.

Montana Nights, is located at 80 Fenn Road and plans to open in late July.

The design includes eight ax throwing pits, supervised by instructors.

Montana Nights is Connecticut’s first indoor Ax Throwing venue.

The company's motto, posted on Facebook, is, "We aim to provide a safe, fun and exciting new option for families, corporate events, bachelor/bachelorette parties, Boy Scout/Girl Scout events and more."
