Newington Man Wins $10,000 In 'Play 4'

NEWINGTON, CT — A local man was quite lucky earlier this week when he netted a $10,000 prize playing a Connecticut Lottery Corp. drawing game.

According to the Connecticut Lottery Corp., James Bednarski won that amount on Monday, Aug. 1, playing the evening "Play 4" game.

He purchased the ticket at "Your Store Deli & Breakfast" in Newington, according to the lottery corporation.

The "Play 4" game is played twice daily, with participants simply choosing four numbers as well as, potentially, multiple options to increase the winnings.
