Newington Obituary: Bryant Judd, 47

Bryant Judd, 47, of Newington, husband of Leslie (Brighindi) Judd, died Monday, October 31, 2016 at Hartford Hospital of a complication from undiagnosed diabetes.

Bryant was a loving husband, a loving father to his children, a devoted son to his parents, a caring brother to his sister and brother. He was also a wonderful uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

Bryant was married for 10 wonderful years to the love of his life, Leslie. They have 7 loving children, Ashley, Trevor, Sarah, Christian, Zachary, Jordan, and Bobby. Bryant is also survived by his parents John and Joanne Judd of Hamden, sister Leslie Paier and brother-in-law Raymond of Cheshire and brother Robert of Milford. Bryant's Mother and Father-in-law, Marge and Ed Brighindi of Shelton, as well as all of his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Bryant graduated from Notre Dame High School in West Haven and was a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston. Bryant loved owning his own business and being fondly known as the "Deli Guy" at The Marketa and the "Pizza Man" while owning Planet Apizza. Bryant loved connecting with his customers on a personal level.

As we all know his most favorite pastime was following the band RUSH! Bryant never missed a concert. He must have seen them over 40 times.

Bryant was a Christian through and through, he enjoyed being a large part of his parish family at St. Mary's Church in Newington. He served as a Eucharistic Minister and CCD teacher. His Christianity meant everything to him. God's Peace and Blessings to you All.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, November 4, 2016, from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Newington Memorial Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Avenue, Newington. Funeral Services for Bryant will be held Saturday, November 5, 2016, starting at 8:45 a.m. from Newington Memorial Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church, 626 Willard Ave, Newington at 10:00 a.m. Bryant will be laid to rest in West Meadow Cemetery.
