Newington Obituary: Carol Becan, 75

Carol A. (Raymond) Becan, 75, of Newington, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2016. She was the beloved wife of Edward J. Becan for 54 years.

Born in New York City, daughter of the late Michael and Ann (Wunderlich) Raymond, she has been a Newington resident since 1970. Carol's whole world revolved around caring for and spending time with her children, and later, her grandchildren.

Along with her husband, a devoted mother and grandmother, she leaves her three daughters and their spouses, Joanne and Peter Samson of Bolton, Donna and Tom Poresky of Mooresville, NC, and Dianne and Kevin Bosco of Gilbert, AZ, and her 10 grandchildren, Bryan, Jenna, Danny, T. J., Kaiti, Michael, Julia, Megan, Luca and Carlyna. She also leaves her siblings, Michael and Barbara Raymond, and her daughter-in-law Nicole Albano and her husband Chad of Ellington. She was predeceased by her most beloved son, E. J. Becan.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, May 27th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Newington Memorial Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington. Burial will be private.
