Newington Obituary: Gary Jones, 73

Gary B. Jones, 73, of Newington, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. He was the loving husband to Elzbieta (Krystek) Jones.

He was born in Hartford on July 6, 1944 to Shirley (Gibbons) Jones and the late Morris Jones. He grew up in East Hartford and joined the US Airforce 1962-1966. He was a Senior Financial Analyst for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft.

He is survived by his daughter Laurie-Ann Jones of Newington, his son Eric B. Jones of Newington and his four grandsons Christopher and Michael Cianci and Hanson and Brody Jones. He was predeceased by his sister Sherida Mazzolla.

Family and friends are invited to call at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 580 Elm St. Rocky Hill, on Saturday May 5, 2018 from 9 to 11 AM. The burial will be private.

Gary's family would like to thank the staff at St. Francis Hospital and Masonicare Home Hospice or their kindness and compassion through his final journey.
