Newington Obituary: Jean Ross, 90

Jean Agnes Ross, a long time resident of Newington, died May 17, 2017 at home surrounded by loving family.

Born June 15, 1926 in New Britain, daughter of Agnes and Andrew Brusek. Jean was one of nine children and is survived by her sister Helen Clement and two brothers, Eddy and Andy Brusek. Jean is predeceased by her husband, Frank Ross Sr. of 68 years and daughter Deborah Jean.

Jean's life was fulfilled by her children, grand and great grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, and spending time at the shore with family, and will be greatly missed.

Jean leaves behind six children: daughter Nancy and George Zima S.C., daughter Gail and Leo Paradis MA, Son Frank Ross Jr Newington, daughter Diane and Chris Morin Manchester, daughter Maryann and Glenn Parker MA. Jean also leaves behind nine Grandchildren: Darin, Laura, Crystal, Benjamin, Jesse, Michael, Tammy, Jason, Jennifer; and 10 Great Grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held Monday, May 22 from 5-7 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Homes, 580 Elm St., Rocky Hill.
