
Juliette (Wollenberg) Sandberg, 82, formerly of Farmington and West Hartford, died September 1, 2016 in Warrenton, VA. She was the wife of the late Edward O. Sandberg.
Born in Hartford, the daughter of the late John A. and Anna (Foster) Wollenberg, Juliette graduated Farmington High School, Class of 1951, and Saint Joseph College for Women in West Hartford, Class of 1955. She taught elementary school grades K – 4th in the Newington School System from 1955 – 1991.
Juliette was an active member of the West Hartford Belles and a parishioner of the Church of Saint Helena, where she served on the flower committee and taught CCD.

She is survived by her daughter Linda S. Wilson and son-in-law Nick D. Wilson of Warrenton, VA; four grandchildren, Constance W. Hildreth and her husband Christopher, Andrew I. Wilson, Stephen A. Wilson and Ellen V. Wilson; and a great-granddaughter, Blair M. Hildreth. Besides her husband, Juliette was predeceased by her brother John A. Wollenberg, III and her sister Jean Marie Wollenberg.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home, 136 South Main Street, West Hartford. Friends and relatives will be received one hour prior to the service from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Burial will be private at Riverside Cemetery in Farmington.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Passionist Retreat Center in West Hartford, the Church of Saint Helena or the Alzheimer's Association.
