Kenneth L. Hutchinson, Jr., 62 of Newington, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. For 37 years he was married to his beloved wife and best friend, Marilou (Barbeau) Hutchinson. He was her "everything".
Born in Groton, Ken was raised in New Britain before moving to Newington 35 years ago. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran and was a longtime member and past Post Commander of the Franco American War Veterans.
After 25 years of employment, he retired from Aetna and was currently employed by F. W. Webb, Hartford. Ken had several passions, including riding his Harley, fishing, and following the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. But his family was his greatest love, and his world revolved around them. He treasured time spent with them, laughing and loving.
